How ritegate earns money

Who pays ritegate, what that never changes, and how to complain.

Last reviewed 4 Oct 2026Reviewed by Jerry Williams1 min read

ritegate is paid by providers, never by you. This guide explains how, in more detail than the How we earn page.

Who pays

Providers pay us. When you choose a provider through ritegate, we may earn a commission from that provider. You do not pay ritegate for anything.

What the commission is for

A commission, agreed with the provider, on requests we introduce that go on to be completed. The exact wording and rates will be published here once the terms are signed. No percentages are stated until then.

What does not change

Commission does not change which zones are listed, which prices are shown, or the order of results. In the zone directory you choose the order: by name, by verified cost, or by verification date. The calculator orders its results by first-year cost, and nothing else affects that order.

What we do not do

We do not hold your money. We do not file your paperwork. We introduce you to a provider, with your consent, and follow the request.

What "sponsored" will mean

There are no paid placements today. If they are ever introduced, they will be labelled "Sponsored" and kept apart from the results.

If you think we got it wrong

Write to us through the contact page and we will look into it.
