Move your business
Founders in the UK and Europe often look at the UAE when they want a different base for an operating business. This page helps you ask the right questions first. It does not tell you what to do.

Questions to answer first
- 1.What does your business do, and who are your customers? The answer decides which zones can license you.
- 2.Where will the work be done, and by whom? Licences, offices and visas follow from this.
- 3.Do you plan to live in the UAE, or only to hold a company there? Residency and company setup are separate steps.
- 4.How many people need UAE visas in the first year? Visa allowances and per-person costs vary by package.
- 5.Which costs repeat every year, not just on day one? Compare first-year and renewal totals.
- 6.What will you ask your home-country adviser before you start? Tax residence rules there are set by that country.
What matters for you
What we will not tell you
A UAE licence does not by itself end tax residence in your home country. Check with a qualified adviser there. We do not give tax, immigration or legal advice, and we cannot promise a bank account, a visa or a licence approval: those decisions belong to the bank and the authorities.
